Cannot log in to the cabinet

The cabinet rejects the password, says «User not found» or asks for a code. Check the address, sign-in method, password and two-factor code.

Checked on the current dashboard version

In 30 seconds: make sure you opened the.advision.digital and not another site, and that the «Email» field contains exactly the address your access was created for, without spaces or typos.

Cause 1. Wrong password

  • Check: an error appears after «Sign in» although the address is correct. Caps Lock or the keyboard layout may be on, or another user changed the password.
  • Action: click «Forgot password?», enter the address and click «Recover password». The email with the link arrives within a few minutes, check the spam folder. Then change the password in «Security», see Change the password and enable two-factor sign-in.

Cause 2. The account was created through Google

  • Check: you were invited through a Google account and never set a password. Signing in with an address and password does not work.
  • Action: click «Sign in with Google» and choose the same Google account.

Cause 3. A two-factor code is required

  • Check: after the password the cabinet asks for «Two factor auth code». Two-factor authentication is enabled in your account.
  • Action: enter the 6-digit code from the authenticator app on your phone. If the code is rejected, check the time on the phone: it should be set automatically. If you have no access to the phone, write to the support chat.

Cause 4. The address is not registered in the cabinet

  • Check: the error says «User not found» and you have not used Google sign-in. Registration in Advision is closed: access is created by the Advision team or by the ownerRole with full access to the cabinet, including members and tokens. of your cabinet.
  • Action: ask the cabinet ownerRole with full access to the cabinet, including members and tokens. to add you as a member with your address, see Add a member with the right role, or contact the support chat for a registration link, see Register and activate the account.

Cause 5. The account is not activated

  • Check: you registered via the link, but after the first sign-in the cabinet asks for an activation key or shows a limited screenA device running the Advision player that shows content; the cabinet calls it a media device..
  • Action: find the email with the activation key at your address (also in spam) and enter it in the cabinet, see Register and activate the account.

Cause 6. The browser keeps an old session

  • Check: the sign-in page reloads without an error, or the cabinet logs you out right after signing in. This happens after a long-open tab or a password change.
  • Action: close all cabinet tabs, open the.advision.digital in a private browser windowA zone of the screen (A to G) with its own size, position and playlists. and sign in again.
