Select, rename, favourite or delete files

Actions on file cards in Media: selecting one or all, the Favorites star, renaming and deleting with confirmation.

  1. 1. Open «Media» and tick the «Select all» checkbox to the left of «Search».
  2. 2. Untick the cards you want to leave alone.
  3. 3. Click the star on a card to add the file to «Favorites».
  4. 4. Click «Rename» in the card menu and type a new name.
  5. 5. Click the red trash icon on a card and confirm with «Delete».
  6. If it did not work

Open «Media» and tick the «Select all» checkbox to the left of «Search».

All cards are highlighted, each shows a checkbox, a star and a red trash icon.

Untick the cards you want to leave alone.

Only the files you need stay selected.

Click the star on a card to add the file to «Favorites».

The tooltip «Add to favorite» appears and the file shows up on the «Favorites» tab.

Click «Rename» in the card menu and type a new name.

The name on the card updates; the file stays in its playlists.

Click the red trash icon on a card and confirm with «Delete».

The file disappears from the library.

If it did not work

No trash icon on the card

Space did not free up after deleting
