Audience data: Wi-Fi counter and coefficient
«Shows» is how many times a file played on the screen, «Impressions» how many people were nearby. Impressions come from a Wi-Fi counter or an average audience.
Audience data answers the question «how many people saw the play». The platform distinguishes «Shows» (how many times a file was physically displayed on the screenA device running the Advision player that shows content; the cabinet calls it a media device., confirmed by the player itself) and «Impressions» (an estimate of how many people were near the screenA device running the Advision player that shows content; the cabinet calls it a media device. during the play). Impressions come either from a Wi-Fi counterA sensor near the screen that counts nearby devices for audience data. installed next to the screenA device running the Advision player that shows content; the cabinet calls it a media device. or from a manually entered «Average hourly audience». It is configured in the «Audience data» tab of the screenA device running the Advision player that shows content; the cabinet calls it a media device. page.

Wi-Fi counter
The counter is a separate device next to the screenA device running the Advision player that shows content; the cabinet calls it a media device., essentially a router with special firmware. It captures the service Wi-Fi requests that phones send out on their own when Wi-Fi is on, and thus registers that a person was nearby. The counter does not connect to phones and collects no personal data. Raw data passes through the Nexinsight algorithm, which filters out noise and accounts for the conditions of the location: screenA device running the Advision player that shows content; the cabinet calls it a media device. format, viewing distance, antenna direction. Connection: in the «Audience data» tab switch on «Wi-Fi counterA sensor near the screen that counts nearby devices for audience data.» and enter the «Key» and «Pass» of the device installed next to this particular screenA device running the Advision player that shows content; the cabinet calls it a media device..
Coefficient
The counter does not see phones with Wi-Fi switched off, and walls and shop windows blockPlaylist type that occupies a continuous time block in which files play in sections. part of the signals, so its number always has a margin of error. The accuracy coefficient is a raising or lowering multiplier that compensates for it. Advision calculates it separately for each location using a mathematical model that accounts for screenA device running the Advision player that shows content; the cabinet calls it a media device. placement, foot traffic and physical conditions. The value is entered next to the counter key.
Without a counter
If there is no counter, enter the approximate number of people passing the screenA device running the Advision player that shows content; the cabinet calls it a media device. per hour in «Average hourly audience»: for «Кава Поділ · Промо» this might be 60. The platform uses this number as the basis for impressions in «SSPSelling spare airtime to advertising sources: a playlist with SSP Connector receives ads automatically.» reports and for advertising systems.
